I set up Access2Care over 15 years ago now with the simple aim of providing the best possible level of care. Nothing less than the care I would want for my own parents would be acceptable and I am pleased to say that we have maintained that standard even in the recent challenges. I’m so pleased that we have found Laura Hughes to strengthen our management team – Laura has the same ethics as I do and will make sure that we don’t lose the essence of who we are.
I am passionate about the care we deliver. Since joining A2C in 2020, I have progressed from Carer, Senior Carer, Assistant Manager, and most recently, Registered Manager. I know what it's like from grassroots to do this job and I know what we’re looking for when it comes to our wonderful staff. We are more than carers. We are healthcare professionals that strive to get the best outcomes for our staff and clients alike. We work tirelessly to help our clients to lead independent lives, one that is informed and with choice. I really couldn’t imagine doing anything else – I am driven to continue to be the small, caring, compassionate company that we always have been.
I started working for Access2Care just over 3 years ago. I enjoy working with the other members of staff and the clients we support are lovely and friendly. No two days are the same, which I like. I also get plenty of training and support from the other members of staff.
Hi. I’m Natasha, or Tash to those who know me well. I joined A2C in 2019 and have developed my role from Carer, to Senor Carer, to Care Co-Ordinator. Not only do I go out on-field, but I have office responsibilities, and I train our staff in all practices regarding Medication and soon will be our responsible Moving and Handling Trainer. I love my job and what we achieve for our clients and staff. We care about both equally and know what a challenging job this can be for our fantastic team of care staff. I have earnt the respect of my team because they see me out on-field and doing the job that they do. A big part of my role is to do staff and client reviews, so I get to hear first-hand what we are doing well and what we can improve on.
My name is Amy and I have worked at Access2Care for just over 2 and a half years now. I am one of the Senior Care Assistants on the Arnold/Carlton side of our team. For me, each and every individual we work with, or care for, brings a sense of pride and honour in the care we provide. It is a privilege to get to know and help these wonderful individuals who really do appreciate the heart and core values of Access2Care, which is time for the individual and exercising their own individual person-centred care throughout our service.
